SAVE ELECTRICITY / INCREASE PRODUCTION

As the STM Base keeps the V-Belt tensioned 100 % of the time, it transfers the speed 100 % thus using 100 % of electricity. Loss of electricity caused by V-Belt slippage can be as much as 25 %.

STM Bases have a 3-year warranty

As an integrated part of a V-belt drive, the MB70-100 drastically :
• Increase lifetime of belts
• Reduces belt slippage
• Minimizes down-time and loss of production

The benefits of using STM Bases as a component of a drive system are dramatic, especially for the larger motor drives, due to their increased effectiveness. When the tight side of a V-belt is on top, the STM Base has the advantage that it tensions the tight side. This reduces belt spillage drastically.

The HTD is designed to allow for -
• Tensioning the STM Base quickly, safely and in a controlled manner
• Changing or tensioning belts within 20 minutes.
• Only one HTD is needed for all STM Bases that are in service
