The Oscillating Systems Motor Base is an integrated part of a V-belt drive.

V-belts should be tensioned as the tension drops below the required force. Experience in the industry has shown this maintenance task is not practical on a regular basis. Re-tensioning is mostly done when it is too late and in many instances damage has already occurred to the belts and pulleys.

Belts need to be tensioned as they stretch

The Oscillating Systems Motor Base maintains the tension on the belts while it adjusts the motor to its new position.

Increasing the effectiveness of the V-belt is not a luxury, it is a necessity to users of V-belt drives. Use of the Oscillating Systems Motor Base will satisfy your needs for a reliable, low maintenance V-belt drive system.

The HTD is designed to allow for -

•Tensioning the STM Base quickly, safely and in a controlled manner
•Changing or tensioning belts within 20 minutes.
•Only one HTD is needed for all STM Bases that are in service
